60 BRYR Arts young people perform in Axis.
The Reco’s Pick ‘n Mix Arts Extravaganza! took over the Axis on Sunday 12th December
The event was a great success!!!
Over 60 Young People performed on the day kicking off with a very special collaboration between MUNCH and young Rapper Ross.
The Music acts kept the beat going throughout with acts including Next Generation and young bands Explicit and Bandanas & Shoestrings.
There were wonderful dance acts by The Shuffle and The Ex-Cadet girls and Roundabout Youth Theatre presented short play extracts from their upcoming LIFT shows, with the Young Roundabouters interpreting ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas with Jake from the young music club on the drums.
We were also treated to some lovely film screenings from the young Digital Media groups, featuring finger puppets & clay animation. On display in the foyer were some of the puppets made through the great work done in Street Art by the Outreach Team this year, masks made by Outfit and some of the art work from the various clubs in the Reco.
The finale of the afternoon began with a fantastic song and dance routine by the Junior Cadet girls with their version of All I Want For Christmas is You.
A great day for the Reco Young People!
