Our EVS Volunteer attends Youth In Action Workshop
Manel Prades was one of a select few to travel to Salsburg for a Youth In Action funded Workshop
Congratulations to Manel Sole Prades, our current EVS volunteer, who was one of the few EVS volunteers in Ireland to be selected to travel to Salzburg, Austria between July 13th and 18th, for ‘Creativity Unlocked’.
This Youth in Action funded workshop gave those working in non-formal learning with young people an opportunity to enhance their creativity, learn about the Youth in Action Programmes and network around local and international projects.
The aim of the workshop for participants was to gain skills, competences and confidence in using creative tools, methods and accessing their own creativity. It is intended that these skills will be passed onto young people in each participant’s project, helping them gain the confidence and insight to engage and express themselves in society.
Activities over the 5 days included drama workshops, teamwork activities and visual arts activities; giving participants a creative space to explore how enhanced creativity could impact on their youth work.
