President McAleese impressed by Reco's Youth Facilities
BRYR and the Reco played host to the President last Thursday morning.
Our Programme Manager gave the President a Tour of our Facilities.
She got to meet many of the young people who use the Reco, and saw each of our new dedicated spaces for young people.
Afterwards she spoke to a very attentive audience made up of local people and workers and people who had a part to play in the building of the Reco.
She commended the achievements in getting dedicated Youth Facilities set up and running in Ballymun.
She also spoke of the real sense of energy she found in the young people and building which she remarked was the reason for it's success.
She then officially launched the Reco by unveiling a plaque to commemerate the day.
It was a very positive day, BRYR was very proud to play host to the President, and would like to thank all those who attended and played a part in the Visit.
