Roundabout Youth Theatre: Recent Events
There is a lot currently going on with the Roundabout Youth Theatre Group.
Summer 2009
RYT created and delivered a successful Summer Programme in 2009 which provided an opportunity for young people who had no previous experience of theatre to participate and experience drama and theatre. The programme included emphasis on improvisation, directing, acting and devising delivered by internal & external facilitators.
Otherworld Festival 2009
The Young Roundabouters group presented a short devised work called Radio Chaos as part of The Otherworld Festival Ballymun. This work is an expression of the weekly workshops since September 2009 with the 10-12 yrs group who are all new members of RYT.
The RYT Senior group presented a short devised work called LaHell as part of The Otherworld Festival Ballymun.
Christmas 2009
RYT will create and perform a Christmas showcase in December 2009, members are currently focused on this production.
