Reco Spaces
There are 10 distinct spaces within The Reco that can be used by young people: 8 of these can be booked for youth work related activity. The Reco floor plans and facilities gallery show their location and size. Only 10% of the total space is allocated to offices. Below is a description of the 8 bookable spaces.
Youth Club 1. Suitable for informal clubs and meetings. Soft furnishings, pool and fussball table. Up to 15 people.
Youth Club 2. Informal clubs and meetings. Soft furnishings. Up to 8 people.
Training & Conference. Suitable for larger meetings, training and small conferences or group work. Seats up to 40 people.
Hall Sprung floor, one wall mirrored the hall is suitable for dance, martial arts, games or larger meetings seating up to 85 people.
Music Room Sound-proofed space with a range of back-line equipment and instruments: suitable for band practice, small music groups and classes.. 16 PCs, networked with monitoring software at a control consol. Appropriate direct supervision.
CITY Centre 6 high spec Macs suitable for creative IT work such as music mixing, film editing etc.
CITY HQ Equipment such as laptops, flip charts, projectors and TVs can be used in any of these spaces. Light snacks can also be booked for all except the CITY rooms - complementary booking of space within the Reco Restaurant is also available.
Sitting Room. This area is available for consultations with young people, both by BRYR and outside Agencies.
YoungBallymun Office. This space is used by the YoungBallymun Jigsaw Initiative.
Youth Restaurant. Newly Refurbished and Extended Restaurant. There is a bookable private area to the Rear of the Restaurant which groups can book.
Meeting Room. A Room available for booking for small meetings, one to ones etc.
