FETAC Level 5 Certificate in Youth Work 2012
BRYR currently offers the FETAC Level 5 Certificate in Youth Work. Download the course brochure 2012 here
This accredited course will start in January 2012 and runs over a 12 month period. This course is intended for adults wishing to pursue a career in youth work. To be awarded this certificate, participants must successfully complete 8 modules, including:
5 core modules: Understanding Youth Work, Working with Young People, Young People and Society, Work Experience, Communications
3 elective modules: Working with Groups, Substance Use - Issues for Youth Work, Health Awareness.
Participants who successfully complete the 8 modules will be qualified to apply for "Youth Activities Worker" position in CDYSB.
