Placement
The volunteer will be placed with a group and supervising youth worker on a one-month probationary basis.
The VSW will check in at regular intervals with the volunteer and supervisor to assess the match and to provide information on training and development opportunities.
At the end of that one month period, the VSW will meet with the volunteer and the supervisor to decide whether to continue the placement, make changes to it, or end the agreement.
At the end of a placement, the Volunteer Support Worker will ask the volunteer to evaluate his experience and complete a Volunteer Evaluation Form.
